Looks like things are getting confused about me leaving.

I left the forums because I was spending way too much time on there and it was unhealthy, on that side I am not going into more info in public. I was always, usually, happy to help people with their problems, maybe the only times I bitched when people were being really stupidly thick like where if they READ MY SENTENCES AND DO WHAT THEY SAY AND STOP ASKING DUMB SHIT, JUST DO IT etc. or just posted a fucking thread instead to allow the other krew to help. Other than that it was general "lol users -computer janitor" shit, like all us tech scrubs do just to let off steam, no harm.

When I did ask to leave though and I was clearly banned and people knew I was I got e-mails too. Now, let's be clear, I helped out as a last general courtesy but unfortunately I just had one too many of those type of above users and it got to me, OK, I'm fucking human, my own kindness bit me in the ass.

Now for the love of god everyone shut the fuck up.

Today my PC has spent 12 hours defragging its HD's. This is because I have not done this in about 2 years so I thought I better get round to it.
I did not know my PC was supposed to be this fast, interesting. I think I should maybe do it more often then once every two years in the future. It was in bad shape to say the least. For the pretended to be interested I used jkdefrag.

Next for my PC is to fix that back fan and reset my CMOS because it keeps going FAIL SAFE STATE on boot even though it is fine and being stupid. It has been like this for about a month now with both problems. Also, I need a new case because this is falling apart now, this has needed sorting for a year!

What is it about your own PC's and just not giving a shit. I have a laptop to repair the power connection on too which I still haven't done after OH I dread to think how long.

Why the fuck do game stores sell used PC games that require a CD-Key to play online or activate? Are they fucking thick? I just bought a load of games from a HIGH STREET RETAILER with some vouchers I got from my bro for Christmas, when I came to install one of them I became slightly annoyed. It was Lost Planet (my PC can take it :gleam:) and a used copy because that's all they had and I thought, "oh it must be OK then if they are selling it" (edit: plus, I thought the retail version would just have disc protection), welp, it has a CD-Key and it goes through Steam to activate, you can see the conundrum here. HELLO STEAM USER, YOU ARE A FILTHY PIRATE, GO BUY THE GAME, but of course said in nice speak saying that the game is already registered please buy a copy that is legit kthx.

I AM ENRAGED GOOD SIR

So yeah, I will have to go all the way the fuck back there to trade in this £15 game for something else, fuck. I also noticed they had mass used copies of Quake Wars there too, NO PROBLEM THERE EITHER, unless you love playing offline I guess.

For some reason I am happy as larry at the moment and I don't know why, I'm behind a bit on my work and still no sleep but my brain just don't give a fuck for some reason and is just chillin'.

I have also finally gotten tortoiseSVN into my life, maybe that's why I am happy, oh jamster, but yeah it's cool and I don't have to make backups of shit all the time now as I am working. I do not know WHY it has taken me this long to sort it out, hell I've known of it for fucking ages now.

2:45am: Fuck the new FEAR expansion pack.
Oh my god, talk about SHIT. It's like they gave it to some shitty mod team to make (this must be TimeGate Studios then). The "new" player models are fucking awful, as are the new weapons, in fact anything they have done themselves that wasn't content in the original game is SHIT. At least the first expansion looked half decent and still had a "FEAR" feel to it. They have also somehow made the engine look WORSE, with the same settings, and I've compared, the original FEAR looks about 100 times better, maybe it's just the shitty art job, I dunno.

Seriously, I have just played this shit for about an hour or so (I gave it a chance) and it's the first PC game in a long time that I thought "welp, that was a waste of money".

Hopefully Project Origin - basically the "proper" sequel made by the original developers, Monolith - should be a lot better (from screenshots it seems to be already).

To round things up I would say I would not play this game even if it was selling for $1. Fuck you Sierra/Vivendi for raping the franchise, I hope you choke on your money.

Seems tasty to me, hopefully it should be perfect. Though holy shit, LCDs are cheap in the UK now. I got it for £210, which I was honestly astounded by. Shit like that not too long ago used to easily cost £400 or more. It will be nice to have some extra resolution now (1280x1024 is my current res).

edit: oh, for some reason it doesn't display the res there, anyway, it's 1680x1050 which will be real nice.

I think I need a new monitor because it is seriously producing some weird CRTy wavy shit. BUT a) no more CRTs and b) ALL WIDE SCREEN.

I mean, b) is OK but I really don't have the room on the desk but I MAYBE could but then we come to a) because if I have to get an LCD I'll be forced to use native res on all games and that means ;_________; for wallet if I get a decent monitor because I would need a power house. Mind you, if I get a DVI one it shouldn't be bad. Also, I am really god damn anal about colour reproduction and I hate most LCDs for this. :/

Basically, I hate having to spend money on a new monitor because it's the thing you look at the most and getting the perfect one is a NIGHTMARE. FUCK. Plus I really can't afford it right now. I have a lot of credit though BUT I don't want to use it because I really want to pay it off. OH :EMO:
